NANI ENGAGED TO ANJANA!

Actor Nani has several reasons to smile. The first reason is the success of his recent release Eega, which has flooded him with several offers. And the second reason is even bigger than the first one. The budding actor has got engaged to his girlfriend Anjana in a private ceremony in Vizag yesterday (August 12). Reports suggest that they would enter the wedlock by the end of this year.

Anjana is a Vizag-based software engineer and Nani had met her a few years ago when Nani was a RJ in the city. Since then he had been in touch with her and their friendship soon grew into love. Recently, the actor had blasted the media for spreading rumours about his impending nuptials.

After his engagement with Anjana, Nani took to his Twitter page to share the news. The actor tweeted today, "I am engaged . Dot. :)." Later, he added, "Some people are still confused .. I denied rumours that I am getting engaged to a Facebook friend .. I still deny. Forget facebook .. Orkut dint exist when we first met :) (sic)."

The budding Telugu actor also introduced his girlfriend to his fans on Twitter. Besides posting their engagement picture, Nani tweeted, "Thank you all for all the love nd wishes .. Here's anju nd me .. Engagement pic for u :)"

However, Nani, who entered films with Ashta Chamma in 2008, has already moved on from the success of Eega. He is currently busy shooting with Samantha for Gautham Menon's trilingual Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu. He is expected to take up the shooting of his another movie Janda Pai Kapiraju soon.

Pawan Kalyan releasing CGTR teaser on Chiranjeevi’s birthday

Director Puri Jagannath's upcoming movieCameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu is one of the much-hyped movies of 2012. And movie buffs are eagerly waiting to see his first look in the film. Here is good news for all those excited fans of Pawan Kalyan. The Power Star has planned to release its first teaser on August 22, on Chiranjeevi's birthday and this would be his birthday gift for his brother.

Sources from the industry reveal that chiru's birthday celebration have missed the Filmy touch after he joined politics. But Pawan Kalyan has planned to that extra zing to this birthday. The actor has reportedly decided to hold a grand birthday function at the Annapurna Studios. As a part of celebrations, he would release the first teaser ofCameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu and this would be a birthday gift to the Megastar of Tollywood.

However,Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu is an action thriller, which is written and directed by  Puri Jagannath and produced by DVV Danayya. Tamanna is playing female lead opposite Pawan Kalyan , who is playing a mechanic and uses his camera to expose evil deeds in the society. The film is slated to release in theatres on October 18, 2012.

Ram Charan plans to sing for himself in future..!!

Not many of you might know that Megapowerstar Ram Charan is a good singer and has learnt classical music for four years.
He also planned to sing for himself in his movies but could not do it till date.

In fact, he wanted to show his singing talent in his debut movie itself.
However, as per the suggestions of his near and dear, he dropped the idea of singing in the very first movie.
Later, he said he would sing occasionally in his forthcoming projects.
However, he could not make it.
“Even though having no knowledge on singing, Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan sing occasionally in their movies.
Even his colleague, Jr.NTR tested his luck as a singer in his previous movies. Then, why can’t Cherry try it for once?“, question some of his close associates.
Let us hope that he will sing once in a while for his future projects.

Pawan Kalyan CMGR Release Date Advanced

Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu (CMGR) Release Date: Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu (CGTR)' movie release date is likely to be advanced by a week, says the buzz. The makers of ‘CGTR’ are planning to release the movie on October 11 instead of earlier announced date October 18. The shooting of the movie is progressing at rapid pace like any other Puri Jagannadh movie and with the new schedule beginning from August 6, the major portion of CMGR would be completed. Tamanna is paired opposite Pawan Kalyan in this movie, produced by DVV Danayya. Mani Sharma is providing the soundtrack for CGTR movie.

Ram Charan’s new movie is titled Naayak

Mega power star Ram Charan's new movie directed by VV Vinayak, has ben titled Naayak. After a lot of dilly dallying, the makers have finally confirmed Ram Charan's film as Naayak. The title looks very powerful and energetic and looks like mega fans are in for another mass masala entertainer.

Synopsis:
Midhuna (Lavanya) is an ordinary college going girl who falls in love with a street guy, Surya (Naveen Chandra) after his several attempts to impress her. Suddenly when every thing looks bright, they meets with an accident. On a different track, Gautam (Rahul Ravindran) is a rich kid but lives on his own playing guitar in a local pub for pocket money. He sees Midhuna and falls for her in first sight. His father offers to save the life of Midhuna if she is married to his son for which Midhuna’s parents readily agree. Later, Midhuna lives in dilemma to chose one from her love Surya or the genuine love of Gautam. Finally, she yields to the love and affection showered by Gautam. Exactly at that time, a twist occurs in the story. What is it? How their lives are affected from the actual part.

Performances:
Naveen Chandra, who played the role of Surya excelled in the role. He delivered excellent expressions and acting skills required to generate the tragedy demanded by the role. Lavanya did a stupendous job as an innocent college going girl and later as a confused young girl. She looked extremely beautiful and had the charm to lure audience in many frames. Rahul did a decent job as Gautam.
Rest of the characters performed well in whatever they are offered.

Technical Performances:
Director Hanu Raghavapudi had dealt with a complex story for his first movie and executed it perfectly. It is such a subtle subject that every frame in the movie should convey emotion and he manged it perfectly. Dialogues were excellent and added to the fresh feel. Radhan’s songs and rerecording is the soul of the movie and suited to the mood of the movie. Cinematography by Murali took the movie to next level. All the locales in which the movie are superb.

Final Say:
Andala Rakshasi is a tragic triangular love story. It is a script with suttle emotion. All the new cast and crew of the movie did perfect justice to their roles. The camera work, dialogues, back ground score every thing takes us to the time of happening. The feel of the movie lingers with us even after we leave the theater.

Coming to the box office part, It is not a  kind of movie for regular movie goers who want fights, romance and comedy. People who enjoy movies like Geetanjali, Yem Maaya Chesave and some Tamil movies with tragic ends will enjoy it.  The chances of commercial success are low.

And now the latest news is that the makers of Charan – Vinayak movie have remixed superhit song ‘Subhaleka Rasukunna’ from the movie Kondaveeti Donga.Thaman who is composing music for this movie had recently recorded this remix song. This song will be shot in the next month. Thaman is confident that mega fans will enjoy this peppy number.

Post the super success of Gabbar Singh, Harish Shankar is an excited man busy with attending the success meet, giving interviews etc.  As already known his next movie will be with Young Tiger NTR. He had recently narrated a subject to NTR who liked it a lot. He is now busy preparing the full bound of this script.

With his announcement in to active politics and by marrying his daughter to Lokesh, actor Nandamuri Balakrishna had became very close to Nara family. And now we hear that the actor is planning to give a push to Nara Rohit’s acting career. He had reportedly given nod to act in a movie with Rohit. A script for this project is being prepared too.
While the director behind this project is yet to be known, Filmnagar sources are abuzz that it is VV Vinayak who is going to direct it. Pawan Kalyan’s helping hand

Most of them see him as an inspiration. Some of the characters portrayed by Pawan inspired lot of people. Here is one example of his kindness once again. Rekha C. is a shooting athlete who hails from Anantapur. She is representing Andhra Pradesh in 50 meters rifle shooting and 10 meters rifle shooting. She had won several medals national wide in this department. But Shooting is a costly game so it is difficult for Rekha’s poor family to sponsor her with costly guns for practice.
Some how or other, Pawan Kalyan comes to know about her problem and lends a helping hand to her. She visited the sets of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu today and Pawan Kalyan had handed over a cheque of 5 lakhs to her.

Synopsis:
Ravi (Allu Arjun) is a fun loving guy who dreams for easy money. Once he asks Bittu (Sonu Sood) for lift. Bittu is a criminal who is planning a bank robbery. Police arrests Ravi in a pub for betting. He gives them information about Bittu’s bank roberry. In the process, Bittu gets arrested and later escapes from police. He pledges to end Ravi. Police send Ravi in to hiding for Hyderabad.Ravi’s love Madhu (Ileana) works in the a travel agency through which Bittu is planning to escape and that is how   Ravi agains bumps in to Bittu. Rest of the story is how good triumphs on evil.

Performances:
Bunny played a lively character as in every movie of his. He is smart, cunning, active and spontaneous in the role of a hero who exactly thinks on the line of criminal. You can clearly see how Trivikram impacts a hero in all his movies and it is evident in this movie too. Dances are good but not up to the range of Bunny.
Ileana looked awkward on screen looking skinny and her face missing glow. Looks like her career is in serious trouble. Sonu Sood even though is a baddie had got an excellent role. He had got excellent screen presence.

Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji are good as always. MS Narayana and Dharamavarapu are good in their little roles. Brahmanandham’s comedy scenes are good even though limited. Ali, Vennela Kishore came and went like lightening.

Technical aspects:
The crowed pulling factor Trivikram is on his own way he steels the show. Screenplay and Direction was extrordinary other than the fact that he used some Hollywood scans. In the order, next worth mention is Cinematography Chota K. Naidu and Shyam K. Naidu is extraordinary. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is good and can be better compared to previous block buster’s with Allu Arjun. Choreography was good. Fights in the film are shot good. Prawin Pudi Editing was apt and worth mentioning. All other departments are ok.

Verdict:
Julayi is worth waching family entertainer with melted love story in an action entertainer. And good comedy to attract family and other king of audience especially Trivikram admirers. Julai has a great scope for a box-office hit.

Nitin as Dilwala

Dilwala is the title of Nitin’s next movie in the production of Bellamkonda Suresh. This film will be directed by Chinni Krishna who made his debut as director with Veedu Theda. Chinna Krishna has earlier acted as butler-English speaking warden in Kotta Bangaru Lokam film. Nitin is the 3rd Hindi title in Nitin’s career. Both the earlier films - Dil and Ishq were super hits. Dilwala will be launched in the last week of July. Nitin is currently acting as ‘Courier Boy Kalyan’ in Gowtam Menon production.

Nani’s next film is going to have Samudrakhani (Sambho Siva Sambho fame) directing it. This film will go to floors in August. He is currently doing two films. Director Deva Katta plays the role of a police officer in Varun Sandesh’s upcoming film tentatively titled Dopidi,  an crime comedy to be directed by debutant Siraj. Notably, another leading director Raj Pippalla essays the role of a terrorist in the same flick. It is heard that the directors agreed to play the roles upon the request made by the producers Raj Nidumoru and DK Krishna. Besides Varun Sandesh, Sandeep Kishan is also playing a lead role. Kareena Kapoor walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela

Managers of Kareena Kapoor have confirmed that the star walked out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela because of date problems and remuneration issues.Bhansali has announced signing up Kareena Kapoor for his ambitious film Ram Leela, a modern take on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Kareena has given 100 days for shooting for a fixed lump sum remuneration and she had paid extra for every extra day she shoots. However, Bhansali is said to have now wanted 150 days with the same fee. Kareena was paid Rs 8 crores for Heroine.Since Kareena has three big films to shoot from October onwards and she had already allotted 32 days for the promotion for Bhandarkar’s Heroine, she opted out of the project. Her managers say that the actor can shoot for three films in 150 days and get three remunerations.Bhansali is said to have contracted Priyanka Chopra to replace Kareena in Ram Leela

SONAKSHI BECOMES PRABHU DEVA’S ITEM GIRL!

Prabhu Deva will be choregraphing gorgeous Rowdy Rathore heroine, Sonakshi Sinha for an item number. The track is called Go Go Govinda for the film OMG (Oh My God). It is going to be a sizzling hot number and will be produced by Akshay Kumar. The buzz is that this song is one of the best things Prabhu Deva has ever done and will feature some mind – boggling steps. Sonakshi is thrilled that she gets to shake a leg with the best dancer in the country. She has told her friends it is  going to be a smash hit.

Samantha set to make Bollywood debut?

Samantha has been losing few films in the process of gaining stardom. She has lost Mani Ratnam and Shankar’s films as she is currently very busy. However, she need not worry too much as the offers are floating in.

Raghu Kunche’s music for Allu Arjun, Puri film

Singer turned music composer Raghu Kunche has struck gold with Devudu Chesina Manushulu. This film launched him in the bigger league of music directors and he has played it safe by composing mass friendly tunes for DCM.

The audio of DCM, which was out in the market, has been making good buzz with masses liking the songs. Subbalakshmi and Disturb Chestunnade songs are topping the charts. With this Puri Jagannadh is giving another big film for Raghu Kunche.

He will score music for Puri Jagannadh’s next film with Allu Arjun. Earlier Puri used to have Chakri as music composer for most of his films. Apparently he has fallen in love with Raghu Kunche’s music.

Eega Review – Rajamouli’s wonder

Story:

Nani(Nani)and Bindu (Samantha) are lovers. Sudeep (Sudeep) a rich brat comes in between them and he kills Nani to get his hands on Bindu. Nani reincarnates as a housefly and avenges his death. He gets help from Samantha and how they execute their plan to kill Sudeep is what Eega is about.

Analysis:
Rajamouli told the story of Eega  on the day of launch and people had expectations over how this film is going to be. Rajamouli exceeded all those expectations with his wonderful visual sense and executing his idea to the perfection.

Eega  is an event. It can’t be put into words. It should be experienced to know the greatness of it. There are some mind blowing thrills and sequences that will sweep you off your feet. Housefly’s birth and the scenes that follow will arrest you with the detailing and wonderful research done.

First half breezes off with good romantic episodes and Sudeep ’s powerful performance. Second half is dominated by housefly scenes. There are many clap worthy scenes in the film. One would can’t help but fall in love with Rajamouli’s visualization and his terrific narration. As the film has not much story the pace tends to fall a bit at times, but there are ample scenes to make it up for it.

Performances: 

Nani was good in his limited role. Sudeep was terrific as the bad guy. His stellar performance was one of the major plus points of the film. His screen presence will make you feel that there is no better option than him for this role. Samantha was a treat to watch. She has given a convincing performance. All others didn’t have much role to play, but everyone did fine in their respective roles. Watch out for Tagubothu Ramesh’s cameo!

Technicalities:

Dialogues were apt. Cinematography was excellent. Editing was up to the mark. Music by Keeravani is the major asset for this film. His background score stands out as one of his best works ever. There are few good melody songs too. CGI work was superb. Visual Effects will definitely rank among the best on Indian screen. Eega’s movements, dances and everything were done to the best possible levels. There was lot of time and hard work put into the film and the results are seen.

Eega is a technically well made film. Production values were top notch. Rajamouli has done a terrific job. His ideas and execution were superb in the film. There were many scenes where one would admire Rajamouli. He is undoubtedly the best director in Tollywood now.

Final Word:

Eega is one of the best films in recent times. It will be liked by kids. If you keep the logics aside, the movie will entertain you to the core. One of the rare films that has to be seen on big screen only. Go watch it!

Salman wants to get Pawan Kalyan’s CGTR remake rights

Salman Khan had scored 3 hits in Bollywood with the South Indian movie remakes in the recent times and is sure keeping an eye on all the south films. Recently, the actor has also bought the remake rights of few scenes from Gabbar Singh.

Now, looks like Salman Khan has set his eyes on the remake rights of Pawan Kalyan starrer Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu taking shape in Puri Jagannadh direction. Salman Khan has earlier done Wanted film, the remake of Puri Jagannadh’s Pokiri, and it gave him the mush needed hit for his career in Bollywood. Salman has enquired on the CGTR storyline from Puri Jagannadh and seems like the Bollywood Super Star is impressed with the story.

Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu being produced by DVV Danayya on Universal media banner casting Tamanna as the leading lady will hit the screens on October 18.

Vamsi Paidipally To Direct Mahesh Babu

Vamsi Paidipally who scored a decent hit with Jr NTR starrer 'Brindavanam' is a busy man these days. Currently he is shooting for 'Yevadu'  with Ram Charan and Samantha. Buzz says, Vamsi has narated a story line to Mahesh Babu and the actor seems to be impressed with the subject. If everything goes fine, Dr Venkat will be producing this film under RR Movie Makers banner. Shooting of this film may begin, once Vamsi Paidipally is done with Ram Charan's 'Yevadu'.

Allu Arjun Dance in Mahesh Babu Movie

It seems that the multi starrer fever has finally caught Tollywood now. Already Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh are coming together for 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' which is an out and out family entertainer. Buzz says, Allu arjun is going to do a special number for upcoming Mahesh Babu's film under Sukumar direction. Every one know that Allu Arjun is a good dancer and the actor shares a special rapport with director Sukumar who directed Aarya and Aarya 2 with the actor. A popular Bollywood heroine will be sizzling opposite to Allu Arjun in this special song. Let us hope these kind of culture to be cultivated in Telugu films from now onwards.

Mahesh Babu Says No For Exposing

Prince Mahesh Babu has been riding high with the success of his movies and to take it a step forward, the gossip mills began to make news that he is all set to be seen with a solid six pack in the new movie directed by Sukumar. Not stopping at that, they also mentioned that Mahesh has imported one trainer from abroad for a bomb salary.

Well, here is the truth from the man’s mouth himself. Recently Mahesh was sharing his thoughts when he reportedly revealed that importing a trainer is true but it is purely for physical fitness only and nothing more. He reiterated that he would not be showing off his bare chest in the film.

And here is the final twist. Mahesh reportedly made it clear that it is not just this film but even the projects of his future where he would be seen fully clothed without any ripping. While this might disappoint his fans, one thing is sure that Mahesh is slowly developing a robust physique which will give more impact to his action flicks.

Namrata Mahesh Reveals The Inside Story

The last few days has been seeing many speculations making rounds regarding the newborn of Mahesh Babu and Namrata Mahesh. Few days back, rumour came in that the couple was blessed with a baby girl. However, Namrata got to share her thoughts recently and here are few excerpts from that.

Baby’s Arrival
Namrata reportedly quashed this as a rumour and she clarified that the baby is due in the later part of July. She added that she was all excited about the big day. While it is not sure whether it would be a boy or girl, the star couple is quite happy with the moments. Already, the couple is blessed with a son Gautam Krishna and it is heard that Mahesh dotes a lot on him.

Motherhood & Parenthood
Sharing her thoughts, Namrata reportedly mentioned that motherhood is a unique experience and added that every woman deserves to go through it once in her lifetime to understand its beauty. As parents, Namrata reportedly stated that she and Mahesh try and spend maximum time with Gautam despite their busy schedules and work commitments.

Bad Cop vs Mahesh
Namrata mentioned that Mahesh is more like a hands-on father despite his tight schedules but whenever they can they squeak out some time and go for short vacations and breaks. However, she maintained that Mahesh pampers Gautam a lot so she becomes the bad cop and tries to balance it. The former actress stated that it is their aim to befriend their kids and not create a policing environment.

Future Plans
Though she is former Miss India and has done movies like ‘Vaastav’ ‘Pukar’ ‘Hathyar’  and few south films, Namrata maintains that she doesn’t plan her life and so there are no future plans as such. For now, she has reportedly mentioned that she has no time as she is busy handling some of Mahesh’s productions. In one line, she has no time at all and is currently very busy.

Mahesh Babu Denies Six Pack Rumors in Sukumar Movie

Ever since Mahesh Babu started training with Gregory Joujon-Roche — the Hollywood fitness trainer who worked with the likes of Brad Pitt, Demi Moore and Tobey Maguire — Tollywood has been rife with rumours that the actor was going shirtless for his next movie with Sukumar.

Greg was reportedly paid a whopping Rs 1 crore as his fee.Speaking to Hyderabad Times from the sets of “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu”, the actor rubbished speculations that he was training in order to sport six pack abs by the end of this year for a special scene in Sukumar’s movie.

I am not planning to go shirtless in any of my movies. I am working with Greg to improve on my health and fitness levels,” the actor categorically stated.

Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor wedding: Bebo to wear Sharmila Tagore’s sharara

With less than four months to go for Saif Ali Khan  and Kareena Kapoor's wedding, the bride-to-be’s wedding dress has been finalized. It will be thesharara that Saif’s mom wore on her wedding. 

Continuing the tradition of the royal Pataudi family, Kareena Kapoor has happily agreed to wear the same sharara that Sharmila Tagore wore on her wedding to the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi in 1969. 

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor will get hitched on October 16 and the wedding preparations are already said to be underway. Interestingly even though Kareena had a slew of designer friends to choose from to do her wedding outfit, she will respect the tradition of the Khan family by wearing Sharmila Tagore’s sharara. 

Earlier, it was reported that the sharara will be redone and embellished to give it a modern look, but now Sharmila Tagore has now confirmed that no changes will be made to the dress. 

However, Kareena Kapoor’s favourite Bollywood designer Manish Malhotra will reportedly design her trousseau. 

Saif and Kareena will tie the knot in Pataudi in what could be a registered wedding. Later, there would be a lavish reception thrown in Mumbai for the friends and colleagues from the film industry.
